At American Wire and Cable Company, the Quality Department covers every aspect of the company. From sales to shipping, all employees are part of extensive Quality programs. The programs are continually reviewed and adjusted to surpass the requirements of all customers. There are currently 9 area specific quality manuals that dictate the procedures, specifications, documentation, and expectations of all operations. These manuals guide the quality assurance used within our facilities
through many programs. The most visible of these are listed below:
- Documentation of all procedures
- Triplicate Product Sampling
- Final Sample Inspection by management level personnel
- Production Startup Quality Verification
- Production Line Decision Authorization
- Active training program with periodic testing and review
- Complete Preventative Maintenance Program
